Friesland Campina is a Dutch multinational dairy cooperative and one of the largest dairy companies in the world. It was formed in 2008 through the merger of two prominent dairy cooperatives, Friesland Foods and Campina, with a history dating back to the late 19th century.
The company operates throughout the entire dairy value chain, from sourcing raw milk from its member dairy farmers to processing, manufacturing, and distributing a wide range of dairy products. Friesland Campina offers various products including milk, cheese, butter, infant nutrition, yogurts, desserts, and ingredients for the food industry. They have a dedicated Research and Development (R&D) department that plays a crucial role in driving innovation, developing new products, and improving existing ones.
